There are many beautiful flowers out there to plant in your garden. For now, however, we can look at rose gardens. Almost everyone would love to have a beautiful rose garden in their yard.

Roses can be hard to grow but they are not impossible to have in your garden, especially if you do some research and preparation before planting. When you have these beautiful flowers they will be worth all the effort you put into growing them.

There are several different varieties of rose bushes. You should have shrub roses in your flower beds, while climbers are used on fences and arbors. For ground cover, you can use landscape roses and miniature roses are perfect for pots. Roses come in almost any color you could want. There are red and yellow, which are the most common, but there are also white, lavender, peach, orange as well as variegated petals.

Six hours of sun each day will make your roses happy. That is the minimum amount of sun for roses and they really would like to get full sun. If you can plant your garden facing east, this would be perfect for your roses. The morning sun is not as harsh as the afternoon sun.

Shrub roses are usually the easiest to take care of, so unless you have a special requirement for a climber or a landscape rose, try stay with the shrub rose which gives you a lot of options for color and fragrance. The best time to buy your rose bushes is in the spring. This means it’s not likely that you will see them blooming, but they usually have a tag with a picture of the color.
